PART-TIME TELLER POSITIONS AVAILABLE


A Teller is often the face of Memphis City Employees Credit Union to the member as tellers interact with a majority of the members who visit MCECU branches. A Teller creates a positive member experience while providing a variety of services involving the receipt and payment of money.

Part-time Teller responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ethically represent MCECU in all interactions
  • Work within established policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Provide award-winning member service with a positive attitude
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of available products and services
  • Follow up on opportunities to retain, expand and deepen member relationships
  • Ask questions and employ listening and communication skills effectively to uncover member needs and make referrals to the appropriate contacts
  • Demonstrate  exceptional teamwork and potentially mentor new employees

Requirements Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous teller/cashier experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds in coin or currency
• Ability to learn and follow MCECU operations and security procedures

Skills:

• Basic computer skills with knowledge of email functions and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good aptitude for math

 

Schedule ranges: Monday-Wednesday 8-4, Thursday and Friday rotating 8-6
