Questions asked, frequently.

Google Pay (formerly Android Pay) enables you to use your MCECU credit or debit card to pay for purchases using your Android mobile phone by holding the device near a contactless reader at participating merchants.
You can make purchases at stores that accept NFC (or tap-to-pay) payments, as well as select Android apps. View A Current List of stores accepting NFC payments.

Samsung Pay enables you to pay for purchases by holding your Samsung® mobile device near a payment terminal. Similar to Apple Pay and Google Pay, this mobile payment system uses Near Field Communication technology. However, unlike other payments, Samsung Pay also uses Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology. This technology allows mobile devices to make payments at both magnetic stripe payment terminals and NFC-enabled terminals.
Samsung Pay works at 90 percent of US payment terminals because it uses Near Field Communication (NFC) and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology.
You can make an in-store purchase by swiping up from the home button or selecting the Samsung Pay application from the home screen or app tray. You authorize payments by scanning your fingerprint before hovering the phone over the card reader.
